Did not dare to go in. From what I gathered researching about the guy, there's a 15 meter vertical tunnel drop shortly after the entrance. He left his guitar and backpack outside and started rappelling down the tunnel when something caused him to fall from the rope and lose his headlamp. He could not climb out again, tried to tie his clothes together to no avail. They found his belongings and his body several weeks later. He'd written notes on a paper in the dark but the Guardia never even let his parents know they existed. They named a parque infantil after him in La Restinga.
